A 375-Square Foot Studio was transformed into a Parisian Flat for a Europhile client.  The studio had linoleum floors and Formica cabinets both of which were replaced.  Floors became hardwood floors which were painted in a checkered pattern in grey and white and cabinets were also replaced with white cabinets.  I added Elements such as Cerused Oak French doors from the late eighteenth century to the only walking closet in the space; nineteenth-century gilded sconces flank an ebonized and gilded wood-framed mirror.  A fifties brass palm tree from France, a nod to that whimsical side of French design. Essential pieces such as a pair of Maison Jansen armchairs added importance to the apartment
